On founding, the company had negotiated an exclusive agreement with UniServices (the commercialization arm of the University of Auckland) to licence a number of key patents based on the concept of Dynamic Tuning in a wide range of key markets, which include key industrial segments and importantly miniaturized applications in the key Consumer Electronic Device market.
Our partnership with UniServices (who are also a shareholder in PowerbyProxi) gives us an in depth knowledge of the IP landscape and prior art that has been published in wireless power.
Over the last 4 years PowerbyProxi’s Research and Development program, has been uniquely driven by building over 50 wireless power applications for Fortune 500 companies.
To date, we have just over 30 key patents at various stages of the Patent filing and examination process.
