Miniaturized Receivers

The plethora of Consumer Devices that we use in our lives on a minute by minute basis have been enabled by our ability to miniaturize technology and drive down costs while continually improving the speed and functionality.

For wireless power to become the next killer feature in devices like the smartphone, we have always believed that miniaturizing the receiver so that it can be integrated into existing sub-systems is the only way it could ever work. We started work on our first IC based receiver designs nearly 3 years ago, patenting significant concepts that are key to achieving this as we went. With the first IC about to ship we are now achieving important design wins from some of the largest CE device companies in the world.

Benefits

  • Re-charge devices without having to plug them in
  • Loose coupling with transmitters to maximize user benefit
  • Efficiency of underlying DHC technology minimizes footprint and eliminates potential problems of heat and interference with other electronic subsystems

Applications

The opportunities are endless to take advantage of the benefits of wireless power in devices where recharging of batteries is a daily occurrence and an ongoing user responsibility.

Licensing Options

In order to meet growing customer demand to trial and evaluate our ProxiPower solutions we are now able to offer a range of licensing options which will enable you to see the benefits of wireless power, and integrated wireless power and data systems in your own products.
